In the event of seal leakage the glass covers may be safely tightened without fear of glass breakage eliminating the need for shutdown, full servicing off-line and holding of replacement glass Visilumes new sight flow indicators use high strength METAGLAS safety windows that employ unique glass to metal fusion technology to give unbeaten resistance to impact & pressure. The metal ring encasing the fused glass window ensures there is no contact between the glass and retainers enabling the bolts to be tightened safely whilst the unit is in service.
