The Shaw Moisture Meters hand held portable dewpoint meter, Model SDHmini-Ex The SDHmini-Ex is a compact, innovative, hand held portable dewpoint meter which is designed for quick and reliable spot-check measurements of trace moisture in gases and dry compressed air. It is perfect for industrial applications: power utilities, natural gas exploration and production, air treatment plants, processing of chemical and pharmaceutical products, general engineering and more. This durable and robust unit is fully self-contained and features the SHAW Moisture Sensor and unique desiccant chamber. It also incorporates signal conditioning circuitry, memory management, on-board rechargeable battery, real time clock and full colour graphics LCD display. The desiccant dry-down assembly technology ensure that the sensor is kept dry between tests and that the hand held dewpoint meter is ready to carry out rapid spot checks. Intrinsically safe and certified to ATEX, IECEx and UL standards, this hand held dewpoint meter is suitable for use in hazardous areas, controlled by a user friendly software interface incorporating multiple menus, hot key combinations, information displays and control functions. The SDHmini-Ex utilises one of the most important and unique features of the SHAW system – the automatic calibration (AutoCal) facility and incorporates the SHAW Moisture Sensor. AutoCal can be carried out in-situ and without the need for any special equipment thereby reducing downtime and minimising calibration costs. All SHAW Moisture Sensors are calibrated and supplied with a Certificate of Calibration traceable to the Humidity Standards at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). With an accuracy of ± 2 °C (± 3.6 °F) various measurement ranges are available from -100 °C to +20 °C (-148 °F to +68 °F) dewpoint. The instrument displays both primary and secondary readings on the LCD display with various user selectable engineering units – °C, °F, ppm(v), ppb(v), ppm(w), g/m³, lbs/MMscf. An intuitive menu structure, 10 language options and powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that will give in excess of 150 hours logging capability; make this the perfect portable hand held dewpoint meter.
