New Production Equipment

New Production Equipment Work is now reaching completion ready for the installation of a new Hawkes 40tonne fully automatic gasket cutting press in October. With multi-axis movement, laser sheet detection and guides, sheet and roll feed and the latest drive systems coupled with the newest software, this press will join our other CNC machines as we increase capacity at our Bulmer site. With a 700mm square head and flexible tooling capability, this press will provide the optimum speed and material utilisation required to ensure a competitive price for parts to our customers. While primarily used for gaskets, these machine are also capable of producing a wide range of parts from 0.1mm thick solid materials to 100mm thick foam parts. We also apt in using different types of tooling to offer narrow wall cutting, slug removal, lamination, multi-tool cutting etc
