MANAGING DIRECTOR - NEW APPOINTMENT

AKD Engineering Ltd, has appointed Andrew Quayle as Managing Director of the Company effective January 1st 2014. Before joining AKD, Andrew held several senior leadership roles including Site Leader for Wood Group GTS Fuel Systems based in Aberdeen, Operations Director for Nexus Industries Ltd and Operations Director for Hager UK Ltd, both based in Telford, Shropshire. Andrew started his career in Cumbria as an apprentice Tool Maker before moving in to Production Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management and then Site Leadership. Andrew has extensive knowledge and experience of introducing Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement programs both in the UK and SE Asia and completed the Accelerated Development Program at the London Business School. “The new appointment for Andrew will allow him to demonstrate his exceptional track record and proven leadership abilities," said Martin Jolley of Camellia the group holding company.
