LNG Hydraulic Power Unit Emergency Control
The Emergency Control System is controlled by the KLAW LNG Hydraulic Power Unit. This enables the emergency release of all the manifold connections in a matter of seconds. The Emergency Control System is controlled by the KLAW LNG Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU). This allows the emergency release of all the manifold connections in a matter of seconds. The KLAW HPU is a critical element in the correct and successful operation of the LNG ERS. The HPU offers the operator a single point of control over the ERS which means that an ERC can be activated for other reasons other than stress on the hose line. Many control variables can integrate into the HPU system including automated options. These facilitate the release of the couplings under different scenarios and conditions. The HPU can operate up to 10 ERC units, it can also be used to reset the ERC following activation. This HPU can be electric or air driven.Visit the KLAW LNG website for more information on LNG Hydraulic Power Unit Emergency Control
